Joel Moore has been serving as the Senior Pastor since May of 2022. He has been with Emmanuel for over a decade and previously served as Youth Pastor and then later as Interim Senior Pastor.
Joel grew up in Texas. He attended East Texas Baptist University where he met and married his wife Amanda. Joel received a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science and Religion. They have three children Brian, Sara and Jace. Joel was the youth pastor at EBC from 2000-2008, and resumed his service at EBC in 2012 after serving in New Zealand for four years. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, snowboarding and riding his motorcycle.
