At Emmanuel we rejoice that we have the opportunity to meet people from different International cultures, languages, and belief systems. We want to learn from others and share our lives with International students and families.

Weekly Events

Let’s Talk: English conversation classes for all skill levels

What:  Classes are for International students, faculty, spouses, visitor, and anyone else whose first language is other than English.  We emphasize improving English listening and speaking skills.  All levels welcome- beginner to advanced!

When:  Mondays and Wednesdays, 9-11am.  Let’s Talk registration and first class is Monday, September 11th and will continue through December 13th.  Classes will resume again in January and will continue until the end of April. You can register by calling Colleen at 509-432-3195.  Registration is always open.  You may begin classes at any time.

Where:  Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1300 SE Sunnymead Way, Pullman, WA

Also:  Free transportation is available by calling 509-432-3195.  Free childcare is provided for children younger than 5 (pre Kindergarten age).

Ongoing Events

Women’s Bible Study: International Women’s Bible Study will meet on Zoom, Tuesdays at 1pm starting in Septmeber. We are studying the book of Mark. Contact Colleen (509-432-3195) for the link.

Monthly Cooking Classes: Starting in September.  Watch for the announcement.

Thanksgiving Dinner: November 18th – For international students, families, and community members.
